The Gyuto
[Ghee-yo-Toe] is an essential staple tool of the kitchen. Below, you will see both Gyuotos and Western Chef knives. The difference between the Western Chefs and Gyuto are slightly prominent but do exist. The Western chef will have sharper tip and slightly more cured blade edge than the Gyuto, but both are used similarly for general purpose activities in the kitchen.
