Local Sharpening Subscription
Ok guys, this is something new! We’re going to be offering a limited number of sharpenings of non meglio knives. Remember, Meglio Knives all come with lifetime sharpening! What this subscription does is allow San Diego locals to partake in our brand new sharpening services. I’ve been making knives for close to 20 years, so I hope my record speaks for itself!
What type of sharpening?
I will be sharpening straight edges only to begin, meaning no serrations at this time and no scissors. This will be purely your standard Culinary knives.
What’s the procedure?
Simply bring your knives to the shop, and I will either sharpen them while you wait or else get them sharpened within 3-5 business days.
Can I mail knives in?
Not at this time.
Are there different levels of sharpness?
Yes, we will do both a standard edge as well as a more advanced stone finished edge, there will be two tiers for this.
What about repairs?
Large chips and broken tips are an additional charge.
How long does the subscription last?
Right now we’re only offering a few annual subscriptions because I want to see how this goes and I don’t want anyone to feel less than amazed at the quality of the work. Will re evaluate if we want to open up subscriptions again and at what price point.
